Nan was born June 9, 1927 in Fort Worth, Texas to
Elmer and Madia Smith.
She was preceded in death by Robert Jules DeWinne; her daughter, Lisa DeWinne; her grandson, David Wayne DeWinne and her great-grandson, David Robert DeWinne.
Nan is survived by her children, Robert Franklin DeWinne, Nancy Diane Pollock, David Jules DeWinne, Sandra DeWinne and Lisa Alexandra Benavides; her cat, Wurfit, 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Nan touched and impacted the lives of everyone around her. She never hesitated in offering support to those in need. Her "family" went well beyond her five children.
