

Born March 1, 1926 in San Antonio TX., Nancy attended Jefferson High School where she met the love of her life, Dick Creamer. Nancy graduated from University of Texas in 1947 where she was a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano where she studied under Dalies Frantz.
Nancy and Dick were married in San Antonio in June 1949 at Laurel Heights Methodist Church. Together they moved to Rochester, Minnesota where Dick was a Resident at the Mayo Clinic. There they made lifelong friends.
Nancy and Dick moved back to San Antonio where they raised their three children. In 1975 she continued her education at Trinity University where she earned a Master's Degree in two piano music. Music continued to play a major part throughout her life as a devoted member of the Tuesday Musical Club and the Festival Hill Music Institute Founder's Board. She was also a member of Junior League of San Antonio, Battle of Flowers Association, Charity Ball Association, Green Hand Garden Club, San Antonio County Club, Club Giraud and The Argyle.
Nancy enjoyed spending time with her Supper Club and her Friday lunch groups, traveling the world with her husband, shopping sprees with the girls, spending time with her kids, grandchildren and her great grandchild. You know Nancy!! She was feisty to the end!!
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Dr. and Mrs. Porter Guy Bowen, M.D. and Mr. and Mrs. Vincent McCown.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Dr. Dick Oliver Creamer; her children, Charlotte Ann Creamer, Carolyn Creamer Mayo and her husband, Paul Randolph Mayo Jr., John Bowen Creamer and his wife, Shawn Robertson Creamer; grandchildren Paul Randolph Mayo III, Wesley Creamer Mayo and his wife, Callie Mortimer Mayo, Lida Lorraine Mayo Felts and her husband, Michael Jordan Felts, Taylor Bowen Creamer, Robertson Clayton Creamer, Shane McIntyre Creamer, Guy Bowen Creamer; and great grandchild, Wesley Cade Mayo.
The family would like to thank Bobby L. Clarke, for her friendship, service and love for over 62 years. Also, special thanks to her day caretaker, Virginia "Vangie" Rodriquez.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary at 1101 McCullough Avenue.
