She is survived by her husband, James P. Cravens of San Antonio; a daughter, Sophie Louise Severance of San Antonio; a son, Michael David Severance of San Antonio; a stepdaughter, Jessica Joy Hemenway and husband Paul of LaCrosse, WI; a step-granddaughter, Eva Grace Hemenway; a sister, Lois Sue Kirby of Holbrook, PA; and a few nieces and nephews.
Nancy was born in Detroit, MI, on August 12, 1947, and moved to San Antonio in 1999, where she worked at Harcourt as a psychometrician. She loved singing for the Lord as a soprano, and did so in the University United Methodist Chancel Choir and Sanctuary Singers, the St. George Episcopal Choir, and All Saints Anglican Church Choir. She also performed as a soloist as well as in duets and small groups.
A devoted wife and caring mother, stepmother, and friend, she loved her family dearly and made friends of all ages everywhere she lived.
