

Nathalie Ruth (Rohler) Greiner passed away quietly April 25, 2015. Nathalie was born Dec 15, 1929 the daughter of Charles E and Eleanor Grace (McGee) Rohler in Hays, Kansas. She lived and attended school in Ellis, Kansas. After High School she attended Business School and worked for Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Company for five years before her marriage to Russell D. Greiner on June 19, 1954.
Nathalie and Russell Greiner spent 26 years in the Air Force and lived in South Carolina, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Wiesbaden, Germany, California, and Texas. They retired in San Antonio, Texas.
Nathalie was preceded in death by her husband, Russell D. Greiner, Col., USAF Retired of 58 years and parents, a brother Charles William Rohler of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and brother in- laws Alex Greiner of Keota, Iowa and Ronald Greiner of Saginaw, Michigan, and granddaughter, Jessica Greiner Jimenez. She is survived by her four children Donn and wife Robin Greiner, Carol Luschen and husband David and Gary Greiner all of San Antonio and Terry and wife Johnanna of Dallas, as well as sisters in law Inez Rohler of Lawrenceville, GA, Alice Greiner of Keota, Iowa, and Vera Casstevens of Sun City West, Arizona, 5 grandchildren (David Jr., Megan, Sara, Rachel and Alexander), 3 great-grandchildren (Mark, Zachary and Damien) and numerous nieces and nephews. Nathalie enjoyed her family and singing in the church choir. She did volunteer work at numerous locations where Russell was stationed and worked as the "baby attendant" at the Mother's Day out at her church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Memorial Service will be Sunday, May 3rd at 2:00 pm at Oak Meadow United Methodist Church at 2740 Hunter's Green in San Antonio and internment will be on Monday morning May 4th at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:45 am.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Arden Court for their love and care of Nathalie over the past three years and the Oak Meadow United Methodist Church for their continued support.
