

Naudlee Valcin-Reese born on January 29, 1972 at metropolitan Hospital in New York City. From the ages of seven to eight she attended elementary school in Queens New York located between 53 avenue and 99th street. As a child she flourished through elementary and middle school with academic excellence. In her teenage years she attended Francis Louis High school and graduated with honors. After graduation she chose to serve her country by enlisting in the United States Army. Naudlee was an Army veteran with over nine years of active service. Her assignments included: Fort Bliss, Fort Sam Houston, Fort Campbell, two overseas tours in Germany and a memorable deployment to Tazar Hungary. While serving her country, Naudlee continued to be passionate about learning and committed to pursuing higher education. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) from Fayetteville State University, She continued her studies at the University of Maryland and Webster University, where she earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard University Business School. She was a certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), certified Balanced Scorecard Master and maintained a valid Texas Nursing License.
Naudlee accomplished many goals and held administrative and executive positions during her professional career with Crosby Technology, American International Group (AIG) and with the United States Army (Hospital Operations Officer & Section Leader). Naudlee led the Alliance Integration team. She was responsible for new product development with third party partners and commercialization of USAA assets. At her passing, Naudlee held the position of Executive Director, USAA.
During her spare time, Naudlee and her husband Melvin volunteered at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), better known as Wilford Hall Medical Center (SAMMC-South) and Brooke Army Medical Center (SAMMC-North).
Naudlee Valcin-Reese departed this life December 27, 2015 after an emergency hospitalization at Northeast Methodist Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving family including: her husband, Melvin Reese, her parents, Bernadette Suzann Valcin and Joseph Renold Valcin (Cap-Hatien, Haiti), a sister, Dr. Darlyne Valcin (Hermann) Richardson (Long Island), two nieces, Deanna Ernestine (Matthew) Earl as she called her "frat"/Crazy (San Antonio, TX) and Imannie Richardson( Long Island, NY) and step-daughter Crystal Reese also known as "frit" (Germany). Naudlee adored and cherish the newest addition to their family, her great-nephew/ as she called him "mini me", Marcel Francoise Earl. Naudlee will be greatly missed and never forgotten by our family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Porter Loring North.
