MAJ Neal C. Brigham, U.S. Air Force (ret.)

MAJ Neal Clyde Brigham U. S. Air Force (ret.), age 89, went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2013. He was born in May 1924 in Stamford, TX. He was a loving husband, father and friend who will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by parents, H.F. & Rose Annette Brigham.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Jane Brigham; 5 children, Beverlee Smith & husband Martin M.D., Neala Philpot & husband Edward M.D. of Chapel Hill, NC, James Brigham & wife Janet of Austin, TX, Patricia Ellis & husband Thomas of Ft. Worth, TX and David Brigham & wife Elizabeth; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Raymond D. Brigham of Lubbock, TX; sister, Lona D. Hood of Big Spring, TX; 2 sisters-in-law, Reba Eichelberger & husband P.T. M.D. and Ida Founteno; brother-in-law, Joseph Donatto & wife Mary Ellen ; special canine companion, Ava “Woof Woof”; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and all his four-legged friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2013 followed by a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1602 Thousand Oaks, San Antonio, TX 78232. Funeral Mass will be 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow with military honors at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
