Nellie Odessa O'Neill

It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Nellie Odessa O’Neill (Griffin), who passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on September 12, 2026. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, strength, love, and perseverance.

Born on March 6, 1931, in Pharr, Texas, Nellie faced life’s challenges with remarkable courage. During part of her childhood, she lived at St. Peter’s and St. Joseph’s Children’s Home in San Antonio, Texas, where she attended St. Mary’s Parochial School and Ursuline Academy. There, her faith and values continued to grow.

As a devoted military wife, Nellie followed her husband to Vacaville, California, where she later built a successful career as a leasing agent. Throughout her life, she remained caring, resilient, and devoted to her family.

Nellie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Don Beasley; her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Marie Beebie; her grandchildren, Steven, Kelly, and Spencer; her great-grandchild, Ryan; and her extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael Beebie.

Her kindness, wisdom, humor, and unwavering love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. May she rest peacefully in God’s eternal care.
