For many years Neomi educated the young minds of the community as a beloved and dedicated 3rd-grade teacher at Agudas Achim Hebrew School. She left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of her students.
She was preceded in death by, her husband, Rabbi Shimon Hashash; her son, Asher Hashash; and parents Miriam and Shalom Levi. Neomi is survived by her daughter Ronit Brookman and her daughter-in-law, Jane Hashash: grandchildren, Shayna Brookman (Dov Solomon), Joseph Brookman (Jessica Preactor), Avi Hashash, and Noam Hashash.
