Neva Jean Ellis, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on March 11, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas, to parents, Bessie and George Waldo Bichsel. Neva was a majorette at Thomas Edison High School. She met James on a blind date, and they were married in June of 1957. She was preceded in death by, her parents and her brother William.
Neva is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Henry Ellis, as well as numerous extended family and dear friends, including lifelong friends, Joe Webb and his late wife Evelyn, and their children John (Deceased), Lisa (Deceased), Paul, and Susan.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
