Neva Pearl Hodges Kirby

Mrs. Kirby was born in Bryan County, Durant, Oklahoma to Samuel B. and Willie Zenobia Steward Hodges. She finished High School in Cobb, Oklahoma. She married Hollis Leon Kirby on April 18, 1946.

She gave her life to Christ at a very early age and has always been very active in Church. Neva was a member of the Order of the Daughters of the King and the Order of the Eastern Star, Alamo Heights Chapter #734.

Neva was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years; her mother and father; and four brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Tommy Hollis Kirby of Decatur, Texas, Daniel H. Kirby and Dudley S. Kirby, both of San Antonio; two daughters-in-law, Sharon and Michelle Kirby; five grandchildren, Lisa Diane Cason and her husband, Gary Cason; Holly Lynn Kirby Chapman, Thomas Joseph Kirby, Michael Anthony Kirby and Paul Dudley Kirby; two great grandchildren, Courtney and Kayla Lynn Diskerud; and brother, Tommie Joe Hodges of Talihina, OK.
