Our beloved mother, Niceta (Cie) Pappassi, age 91, went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2012. She was born in Fort Dodge, IA on January 24, 1921. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. A few of her many talents included arts and crafts, cooking and sewing in which all were done with a labor of love. She loved to play cards and board games and was a member of her bunco club for over 15 years. Niceta was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Paul, her grandson, Rick Gonzalez. She is survived by her children Debbie Solowiow, Joe Pappassi (Letitia Fulcher), Leisa Pappassi-Castillo (Jose), grandchildren, Stefan Solowiow, Patty Villanueva, great grandchildren, Patrick and Jeremy Villanueva, Anthony Gonzalez, sister, Berma Cox. Visitation will begin on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. Interment will follow at 10:00 A.M. in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
