She loved traveling, snow skiing, motorcycle riding and her cats. She was an ardent supporter of animal rehabilitation and rescue.
She is survived by her daughter, Kirsten; son-in-law, Jimmy Herrera; her special grandchildren, JJ and Mary Herrera, who affectionately called her, Me Meow and Ike, her fiancé.
