Noelia "Noey" Maldonado

Born on November 11, 1981, in San Antonio, Texas, Noey was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, beloved sister, adoring aunt, loyal friend, and a woman whose warmth and strength touched everyone who knew her.

Noey shared a beautiful life with her husband, Gerardo Maldonado, and together they built a family that was the center of her world. She was an incredibly proud mother to her daughter, Sophia Maldonado, age 23, and her son, Noah Maldonado, age 17. Nothing brought Noey more joy than spending time with her children, cheering them on, and celebrating their accomplishments.

More than anything, Noey loved her family. As the heartbeat of the family, she brought everyone together with her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love. Because the family shared life together on the ranch, she was blessed to be part of the everyday moments that mattered most, from family dinners and cookouts to backyard games and quiet evenings spent together. The ranch was more than a home; it was a place filled with love, memories, and the strong family bonds that Noey helped nurture every day.

Noey's Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. She was a devoted believer who found comfort, strength, and peace in prayer. The Rosary was a cherished part of her daily routine, and her faith remained steadfast throughout her diagnosis and treatment. Even during the most difficult days, she faced every challenge with courage, grace, and an unwavering trust in God. Her faith not only sustained her but also inspired those around her, serving as a powerful example of hope, strength, and love.

Noey was also a dedicated businesswoman and the proud owner of Sonoma, Inc. Building Supplies & Equipment Rentals. Through determination, hard work, and perseverance, she built a successful business while remaining deeply committed to her family and community.

Those who knew Noey will remember her for her kind heart, strength, resilience, generosity, deep faith, and unwavering devotion to her family. She had a special gift for bringing people together and filling every gathering with laughter and love. Whether around the dinner table, at a family cookout, swimming on a warm Texas day, or playing soccer, volleyball, and baseball in the yard, Noey made every moment meaningful. Her faith, love, and spirit will continue to guide and inspire those she leaves behind. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jerry; her daughter, Sophia; her son, Noah; her parents, Maria del Carmen and Wenceslao Jaramillo; her brothers, Joel Jaramillo and his wife, Amy, and Jaime Jaramillo and his wife, Tanya; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and loved ones who were blessed to know her.

Noey was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Anita and Margarito Dueñas, and her paternal grandparents, Margarita and Asunción Jaramillo.

Visitation will begin on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 5:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm at Porter Loring Mortuary West in San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, August 11th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste, Texas.

Immediately following the Mass, Noey will be laid to rest at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery down the street from the church.
