Norma Jean Bryant was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and a giving friend. Norma passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 23, 2008, at the age of 74. She was born July 29, 1934 in Hollis, OK. She is survived by her son Rickey Bryant and wife Reaber; two grandsons, Jon-Luc and Dondre; brother Carroll Wayne Lee; cousin Wanda Beth Cary; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her daughter, La Brenda Bryant; father, Louis Turner Lee; and mother, May Ellen Lee. She was present at every sporting event that her son Rickey participated in from elementary to high school. She was a volunteer at school working with handicapped children and worked at Kleck Plumbing, Inc., for 20 years. She loved sports. She was a devoted fan of the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. We would like to send our gratitude to all her friends and family for their calls and visits to Norma during her time on hospice care. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 28, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
