During WWII, she worked as a secretary in the Army Signal Corps Intelligence Department and also as a secretary in the Red Cross for a year in the Asiatic Theater. She was active in St. Mary Magdalen Parish and the Legion of Mary for many years. She became Parish Secretary for Holy Spirit Parish in 1969, serving until retirement in 1984. She married John Millar, who survives her, in 1947.
She also is survived by her daughter, Teresa; son-in-law, Bob and grandchildren, Valerie Carson and David Comer.
