Normalie “Norma” Willis, a radiant and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on September 11, 1928, in Sacramento, California, Norma lived a long, beautiful life defined by love, family, and grace.
Norma was married to the love of her life, Joseph Vincent Willis, for 56 years until his passing. Together, they built a family full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
She is survived by her beloved daughters Elizabeth Simpson, Stacey DeHart, and Melissa Ruby; her treasured grandchildren Tyler Ruby and Madison Bush, Steven and Ashley DeHart; and her precious great-grandson Lincoln Alexander Bush. Her family was the center of her heart, and she poured her love into every generation.
Norma had a zest for life that was contagious. She was endlessly social, loved shopping, and relished dining out—always accompanied by a glass of wine and great conversation. An avid reader, she also found joy in quiet moments at home with her sweet puppy, Daisy, who was her constant and loyal companion.
Those who knew Norma will remember not only her warmth and spirit but also her timeless beauty. She took great pride in her appearance, never stepping out without her makeup perfectly applied and her outfit chosen with care. She delighted in the little compliments, especially when someone admired her earrings, which she wore as a signature touch of her elegance. Stylish and graceful, she turned heads wherever she went. Her beauty was more than skin deep—it shone from within and was felt by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Norma lived her life fully, with a generous heart and a smile that lit up every room. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but her love and spirit will live on in the lives she touched.
A private family service will be held to celebrate Norma’s remarkable life.
