Norman was born September 4, 1942 in Wayne, Michigan. He graduated from Wayne State University and Wayne State University Medical School in 1968 with a degree in Medicine. He married Lorene MacDonald, November 1, 1969. In 1972, they made their home in San Antonio, Texas where Norman accepted a position as a Major in the United States Army at Fort Sam Houston. Upon completion of his military service, he was employed by the University of Texas Health Science Center as a Physician of Rehabilitation Medicine where he worked for 31 years. He acted as director of the Residency Program (1979-1992) and Medical Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Saint Rose Catholic Hospital (1986).
Dr. Gall is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lorene MacDonald Gall, his daughters, Wendy Douglas with husband, “Doug” of Lufkin and Carrie Dolle with husband Justin of San Antonio, and his beloved granddaughters Micah, Olivia, and Brianna. Norman was great family man and a loving father. His family will always remember him as “Papa”.
Beloved friend and pastor, Ron Arbaugh, will officiate the ceremony. Norman loved his church and all those who attended with him. Thank you all for your years of prayers.
