Norman Harry Bud Jones

Norman Harry "Bud" Jones, passed October 16, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. Bud was raised in Wilmette, attended New Trier High School, served in the Army in Okinawa, Japan, then graduated from Culver-Stockton College where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Kappa Mu chapter. He then spent most of his life in Northbrook where he was an Executive Manager at Ekco Products, Inc.

He was the beloved son of the late Doris nee Dayton and Harry Jones of Wilmette; brother of Ruth Elbell, the late Barbara Lowe and Joann Kilcullen; loving father and best friend to his daughter, Lisa Jones and the late Geoffrey Jones. He adored his grandchildren Lauren and Dayton and was a caring uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Everywhere Bud went, he made lifelong friends. His devotion to his family, his dry sense of humor, his passion for golf, and the way he treated everyone with love and respect made him the man we adored and he will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 24 from 10 am to 12 Noon at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview, IL. Funeral procession from the funeral home following the visitation to Sacred Heart Cemetery, Northbrook. Funeral information 847-998-1020.
