Norman Leach, age 84, passed away March 5, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on December 20, 1935, in Montgomery County, Kentucky, to Thomas and Bessie Leach. Norman was a loving brother to all thirteen of his siblings and a wonderful and loving husband, uncle, and stepfather. To everyone that knew him, Norman was a kind-hearted individual that went out of his way to treat everyone with respect and dignity.
He was preceded in death by Thomas and Bessie Leach, and his wife, Mary Sue Leach. He is also survived by twelve siblings and their spouses, nephews, nieces and their children, in addition to a stepdaughter and stepson.
He was an avid sports lover and spent many hours dedicated to watching a good basketball, football or baseball game and also had a special affinity for horse racing. He was employed at Pneumatic Scale Angelus from the early 60’s to late 90’s as a seamer mechanical technician, customer service, and trainer and spent almost his entire career traveling all over the world providing customer service and equipment care training to his many customers locally and abroad.
There will be a private burial in Kentucky at a later date in celebration of Norman’s life. We will all miss him greatly. Rest in Peace, our beloved Norman “Daddy Sam.”
