Ofilia was a very hard working woman. On top of being a mother and military wife, she had a long career in healthcare working as a nurse. She loved to travel, especially later on in life to Las Vegas for annual casino trips. But when she was at home she enjoyed reading, knitting, bowling with her family and cooking. Her Ham and bunuelos were two of her famous things to cook and loved by all who got to try them.
Ofilia is survived by her daughter Cynthia Ann Paredes, son Ron (Gloria) Paredes, granddaughters Liche (Luis) Dominguez, Aaliyah Paredes, Isabella Paredes, grandsons Paul Anthony Paredes and Cyd Paredes. Great grandchildren Aubrey Dominguez, Mykel Dominguez, and Gabriel Dominguez; her brothers Richard DeHoyos and Edward (Minerva) DeHoyos. As well as numerous cousins and friends all to cherish the memories they created with her.
Ofilia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years Cayetano Paredes, both of her parents as well 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
