I was Olen's daughter in law, not only for the sixteen years I was married to his son, but until today.  He was a wonderful example of a good, kind and loving grandfather to my children, Dain and Raphaella.  We shall miss having him in our lives.

My Grandfather was a ray of light in so many lives, especially mine! I have wonderful childhood memories of him and very special adult ones, as well. He let me drive on his lap when I was 6 (we were rebels!), kept me and my cousins stocked with tokens to play video games (we were the most popular kids at Shakey's Pizza!) and taught me how to boogie down to jukebox tunes. He also bought me the prettiest orchid lei for my college graduation, danced the night away at my wedding, and we had a wonderful time together in Los Angeles, when we got to hang out in Malibu and tour Hollywood while he told amazing stories of all of the famous musicians he had worked with. He might have worked with legends, but he was and will always be the biggest star to me. Now, he is jitterbugging with the angels....till we dance again, Grandfather....
