

Olga G. Juarez entered eternal rest on April 7, 2019 at the age of 71. Born in Big Foot, TX on August 15, 1947 to Melquiades and Jesusita (Medina) Gutierrez; she now reunites with her parents; daughter, Sandra Juarez; and siblings: Guadalupe Hayes, Margaret Palma, Eduardo Gutierrez, Johnny Gutierrez, Melquiades Gutierrez Jr., and Clementes Gutierrez.
Olga had a passion for crocheting. She loved making blankets for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. She had a green thumb and took pride in gardening, especially caring for her beautiful roses and tomatoes. She enjoyed the company of family and friends, and when she was visited it was almost certain she would be watching her favorite Animal show or Star Trek.
She was a bus driver for over 20 years with the NISD, and she loved the children she drove for. She was lovingly known as “Mrs. J” and had a special place in her heart for the children. She loved and treated them as her own.
Olga was a loving, compassionate, and giving woman whom will be greatly missed by all those she loved. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 53 years, Frank Juarez; children: Barbara (Rick) Garza, Denise (John) Garcia, Frankie Juarez Jr., Priscilla Juarez; grandchildren: Jeremiah, Matthew, Cassandra, Cierra, Jonathon Garcia, Taylor McLain, Karley Garcia, Nicholas, Tony, Kirsten Benke, Azurah Juarez; great-grandchildren: Hudson, Luna, and baby-on-the-way, Sienna; sister, Maria Zapata; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The family will received guests at the funeral home on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate her life at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Devine Evergreen Cemetery in Devine Texas.
