

Olga Aguilar Perez-Meredith, 80, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024, at 10:55 AM in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Born to Gus and Estella Aguilar, both of whom preceded her in death, Olga spent her life devoted to her family and friends.
A proud & loving mother and grandmother, Olga is survived by her daughters Lisa A. Aldaco, Dana M. Perez, and Gina R. Perez, as well as her favorite granddaughter Kristen L. Aldaco. She is preceded in death by her brother Gus G. Aguilar Jr., and survived by her beloved sisters, Viola Fraga and Joann Aguilar, who remained close throughout her life, nieces Barbara J. Valadez and Cassandra Fraga, and great-niece Demi Üçok and great-nephew Derek Jimenez as well as many family members in the Garcia Family Tree.
Olga was known for her creative spirit and love of family. She loved cheering on the San Antonio Spurs, enjoyed Texas A&M Aggies games, or simply spending time with her family. She had a knack for crafts and loved sharing her creations with those she loved. She found joy in making beautiful things with her hands. Olga also loved to garden and bowl. Her travels brought her many adventures and lasting memories.
A hardworking and intelligent woman, Olga also valued the simple moments with her loved ones most of all. Her presence at family gatherings was a favorite source of joy and laughter, and her love of family remained the cornerstone of her life. Her family and friends will miss her deeply. Olga was a proud graduate of Luther Burbank High School, as well as UTSA where she earned a bachelor's degree. She was a retired employee of SW Bell/AT&T while remaining active as a crafting entrepreneur.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Porter Loring Mortuary.
