Oliver Eugene Gene Jopling, III

At his bedside to help him begin his new journey with a prayer were his three daughters, Jill, Jacq and Jordan, and his mother, La Vern. Gene also leaves behind a wife, Ann; two brothers, Hallum and Robert.

Born in August of 1948, Gene worked to make the State of Texas a better place to live as a member of the American Institute of Architects. The hospitals, buildings, and other structures he worked on will serve Texans for many years to come.

If you wish to celebrate Gene's life, we ask that you join Gene's spirit and family in cheering on The University of Texas Longhorns as they play Nebraska on Saturday.
