Olivia Vara Garcia, born on November 15, 1943, was called home by the Lord on June 7, 2026. While our hearts mourn her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with those she loved and is resting peacefully in God's eternal embrace.
Olivia was a woman whose kindness, warmth, and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She found joy in life's simple blessings and had a remarkable gift for making others feel loved, welcomed, and cared for. Whether through a warm smile, a listening ear, or a heartfelt conversation, she had a way of making people feel at home.
She especially loved spending time in the kitchen, where she expressed her love through cooking and baking for family and friends. No one ever left her home hungry, and every meal she prepared was seasoned with love and affection. Olivia also found happiness in sewing, gardening, coloring, and creating art. Her creativity brought beauty into the lives of those around her and provided her with peace and fulfillment throughout the years.
Above all else, Olivia's greatest treasure was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, siblings, and loved ones. Whether gathered around the dinner table, celebrating milestones, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other's company, she made every occasion meaningful. Her love was constant, unconditional, and deeply felt by all who knew her. The memories she created, the traditions she nurtured, and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of her family for generations to come.
Olivia was welcomed into Heaven by her beloved husband, Mariano; her parents, Domingo and Bertha; and her brothers, Michael and Robert, all of whom preceded her in death.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her children, Mario and Steven, and their spouses, Marie and Kathryn; her treasured grandchildren, Michael, Kimberly, Olivia, and Nicolas, who were the light of her life; her great grandchildren, Zofia and Sonny; her brothers and sisters, Domingo, Martin, Leanor, and Oralia; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were blessed by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.
Though Olivia's presence will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched. Her legacy of love, faith, compassion, and devotion to family will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
