Oralia Lara Barron

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Oralia Lara Barron. She went home unafraid and with a heart full of love on October 9th 2026. Oralia was born August 26th 1951 In San Antonio Texas. She was 1 of 17 Siblings born to Guadalupe and Francisco Barron.

A woman of extraordinary beauty, strength, and grace, Oralia was a proud and guiding mother of 5 children; Leticia Lara, Jesus Lara Jr, Gabriel Lara, Roger Lara, and Veronica Lara Bedoy. She was also an amazing Grandmother to her 11 grandchildren; Maricela, Clarissa, Jesse, Jazlyn, Gabriella, Graciela, Eva, George, Brandon, Benny, and Lucy. Oralia loved her children and their children endlessly and gave them her all even when there wasn't much to give.

She was a loving and dedicated Sister, Tia, and Friend. Oralia was a bit of a fashionista which sparked her interest for cosmetology which lead to her 30+ years of being an amazing hairstylist. She also cared deeply for people which inspired her to become a nurse's assistant and a Special education substitute. She touched many lives with the many talents she had. She always had a full house for every holiday due to her amazing tamales and menudo. Truly an amazing woman through and through. Strong willed Hilarious with an infectious laugh.

Heaven just became a bit brighter with a whole lot more dancing. Oralia will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Treviño Funeral Home, located at 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237, on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their final respects during a final viewing on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 8:30 AM, before departing for the Mass of the Resurrection at 9:30am at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church, located at 3231 El Paso Street, San Antonio, Texas 78207. Services will conclude at the church.

Family and friends are kindly asked to meet at the church on their own. Those who choose to follow the funeral vehicles are respectfully reminded to obey all traffic laws and drive safely along the way.
