Oralia is preceded in death by her parents, Donato and Esther Villarreal,brothers, Galo Garcia, Sergio Garcia and Salvador Garcia and by a grandson, Ronnie Heare Jr.
Oralia is survived by her husband, Alvin Byrd; children, Lynn Pomaville, Suzette Wilson and Frank Williams Jr.; Step-children, Alvin Byrd Jr., Mary Garcia, Patricia Wilson and Jacqueline Scheidegger; 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Oralia will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238 with a rosary at 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Friday, January 17, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church, 7990 W. Military Drive, San Antonio, TX 78227 with a committal service at 2:00 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78209.
