Orlando Lucio Vega, also known as Lando, entered into his eternal rest on September 30, 2025 at the age of 41 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 11, 1984 to parents, Lucy Treviño Sifuentes and Orlando R. Vega. Lando was known for his big heart, even bigger smile, and the kindness that radiated from him everywhere he went.
Orlando lived his life with love and generosity at its core. He enjoyed cooking and was happiest behind a grill, barbecuing for family and friends. Whether fixing something around the house or lending a hand to anyone in need, he found purpose in helping others and bringing joy to those around him.
Above all, Orlando’s greatest pride and joy was his daughters, Gabby, Booboo, and Isabella. He loved his daughters deeply and cherished every second spent with them — they were the light of his life and the center of his world.
Lando will be reunited in heaven with the love of his life and mother of his daughters, Clara Aguero; daughter, Isabella Juliana Vega; father, Orlando Vega; and brother, Anselmo A. Perales.
Orlando will be remembered forever by his daughter, Gabriella Vega, Brianna Vega; mother, Lucy Treviño Sifuentes; siblings, Benito Perales, Francisco Perales, Mario Perales, Martha Vega and Jesse Vega. Nieces and nephews, Samantha Perales, Jeremiah Perales, Elexis Medelez, Julio Medelez Jr., Mercadies Medelez, Jazymine Rios, Johnny Rios, Xavier Mendez, Brianna Mendez, and Mario Perales. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Orlando will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM with the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home. A mass of the resurrection will occur Friday, October 10, 2025 beginning at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
