

Oscar Ramiro Gutierrez, passed away July 27, 2014, joining his father, Ramiro Castro Gutierrez, and his mother, Josephine Ibarra Gutierrez. He is survived by his only sister, Yolanda Benavides and her husband, Ernest Benavides. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews and cousins and friends.
Oscar was always willing to help, give and protect any one in need. He was known for his great humor and laughter in happiness. He lived a glamorous loving life filled with adventure and loved to travel and was very involved with his Catholic Faith. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio, Texas in 1974. In the 1980’s He lived in Houston, Texas, where he began a career in commercial advertising and acting. He was fortunate enough to launch several popular commercials and got to play in some parts for shows like; Magnum P. I., and the movie, “Johnny Be Good” etc. .He also lived in Hawaii and Atlanta Georgia. He returned to live in San Antonio, Texas two years ago.
