He is survived by his wife of ten years, Mary B. Lopez; sons, Tyler Anthony Lopez and Tate Albert Lopez; parents, Bernardo and Carmen Lopez; and sisters, Sylvia Salazar and husband Pete and Virginia Tanguma and husband Martin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to a memorial fund established at Security Service Federal Credit Union for Oscar Lopez or St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1602 Thousand Oaks, San Antonio, TX 78232.
