Oscar S. Silvas

He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Silvas & Carolina Saenz Silvas.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Rebecca (Becky) Lopez Silvas; sons, Andrew J. Silvas and Michael Silvas; grandchildren, Michael Silvas, Jr. and Nevaeh Silvas; siblings, Orlando Silvas, Irma Martinez (Jesse) and Delia Garcia; nieces, Tracy G. Bailey (Nate) and Jessica Reyes (Mark); great nieces, Izzabella Reyes, Caroline Bailey and Amelia Bailey and great great niece, Amirah Bonnet.

Oscar was a crane operator for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and enjoying time with his loving family. At home he was often in his favorite recliner watching his fishing & hunting shows or the sports channel. Oscar will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

A visitation for Oscar will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Saturday, February 17, 2024 a procession will depart the funeral home at 11:00 AM for a Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Somerset, Texas.
