Otilia Morales Arguello

On April 16, 2026, the matriarch of our family ascended into heaven. Otilia Morales Arguello (Tillie) enjoyed 75 years of love and laughter with family and friends. She will forever remain in all our hearts and prayers.

Tillie was born in 1950 to Ponciano and Maria Morales in San Antonio, TX. She birthed three beautiful girls (Cynthia, Barbara and Monique) before marrying her true love, Alvaro Moreno Arguello in 1991. Tillie spent 34 memorable years dancing, traveling the USA and gambling alongside the love of her life.

Tillie took pride in her ability to help others. She spent more than 30 years working for H&R Block where she held the title of Senior Tax Analyst providing services for both English and Spanish speakers.

Tillie is survived by her loving husband; her daughters Barbara Michelle Gonzalez and Monique (William) Rangel; her six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; her two older brothers David (Leticia) Morales and Ponciano (Dora) Morales.

Tillie finds comfort with her predeceased family including her parents, her older sister Sofia Medrano and younger brother Pablo Morales; and her eldest daughter Cynthia Ann King.

A service will be held at St. Monica Catholic Church on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 10 am starting with a Rosary and followed by a Mass.
