

Parker Lincoln Smith, 25, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Newport News, Virginia, passed away on November 23, 2025. Born on March 4, 2000, Parker brought light, humor, and compassion into every room he entered. His warmth, loyalty, and sharp wit made him a cherished son, fiancé, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend.
Parker graduated from Menchville High School in 2018 with honors. Parker was involved in JROTC, basketball, track and field, baseball, Spanish National Honors Society, Homecoming Court, as well as treasurer for his graduating class. Following graduation, Parker then attended Virginia Tech where he graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Foreign Affairs, with a minor in Spanish. While enrolled at Virginia Tech, Parker was a part of the Corp of Cadets where he was awarded several medals and certifications in leadership and distinguished achievements. Upon completion of his degree, Parker then relocated to San Antonio, TX where he worked as a Project Manager for Noble Texas Builders.
Parker is survived by his loving fiancée, Lindsi Sykora, with whom he shared a deep and devoted bond. He is also survived by his mother, Erin Gutierrez and her spouse Ricky and daughter Martika; and his sister, Madison Drennan and her spouse Nico, and their son Owen, who adored his Funcle P.
He leaves behind grandparents Patricia “Nini” Sligar and Paul “GrandPaul”, as well as Cindy “Granny” Smith, who each held a special place in his heart. Parker is also survived by his Aunt Beth (Alan) and their children, Abby and Charlie Zinsmeyer; and his Uncle Brandon “Bean” (Veronica) and their children, Tristan and Donovan. His faithful pets, Otis and Aegon, were constant companions who brought him comfort and joy.
Parker was preceded in death by his beloved great-grandmother, Marie Wampole, and his great-uncle, Don Casteel.
Parker will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering love for his family, and the laughter he gave so freely. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved him.
