Patricia A. Cook, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished homemaker, passed away on January 2, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 83. She was born on August 19, 1941, in Owensboro, Kentucky to Ernestine and Herbet Bowlds. Patricia was a warm and loving soul whose nurturing spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She dedicated her life to her family, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donny Bowlds; and sister, Mary Michael Barry. Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, CSM Arlen J. Cook, US Army (Ret.); daughter, Karen L. Hugdahl (Jeffrey); son, Charles L. Cook; grandchildren, Taylor Hugdahl, Zachary Hugdahl, Jason Cook; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2010 North Loop 1604 E., San Antonio, Texas, 78232.
