Patricia Lynn Duchow

Patricia passed away on August 11, 2006 following her battle with heart disease. She received her heart transplant on February 1, 2006 and was doing very well but she was unable to overcome the last rejection. Patty was born in Hann, Germany March 10, 1957 and graduated from Myrtle Beach High School in San Carolina. She attended San Antonio College and the International Aviation Travel Academy in Arlington, TX. Patty worked for Evergreen Aviation, Sears, Star and Jani-King of San Antonio. Also she was a member of Daughters of the Nile. She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Duke Duchow, and brother, Gregory Duchow. She is survived by her loving mother, Julia Duchow and sisters, Linda Oringderff of New York, Brenda and spouse Alvin Brooks of Houston; brother, Mike Duchow of Houston. Patty was a great-aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. The family will received friends at Porter Loring Mortuary North on Monday, August 14, 2006 from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Heart Transplant Unit/ICU at the Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital for their love and care of Patty.
