

Patricia is survived by her son, Justin Cary Gobar and wife Alana; grandchildren, Madison Gobar, Ainsley Gobar and Jameson Gobar; nephew Michael Johns. Patricia retired after nearly 36 years of federal service, 13 of those years with the Air Force News Agency as an editorial assistant. During her stint on Kelly AFB she enjoyed many extracurricular activities such as softball and chili cook offs. Over the years she enjoyed watching her son play baseball and football. With the determination to keep working, she placed retirement on hold and went to work for the Department of Public Safety as a Captain’s secretary. Finally after a second retirement she enjoyed becoming a Grandma and started enjoying watching her grandchildren grow and also get into sports and other activities.
Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. with visitation at 9:00 A.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 9944 Leslie Road, San Antonio, Texas. 78254.
Interment will be at later date at the Zion Helotes Lutheran Cemetery.
