My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.  May your memories bring you comfort.

When I received this obituary notice from Charlene,it brought back so many memories of Mercedes and of Coach Henry and Patsy along with Coach Reeh and his Patsy.  My sincere sympathy and prayers to Coach Henry and their son Brad- may God give you peace and strength for the coming days.  I remember both of these Patsy's and what beautiful women they are in spirit and body.

Patsy is probably laughing as I am late as usual.  She was mu best friend, sister of my heard and wonderful support as well as my favorite gambling buddy. Patsy.  You would be surprised how everyone from Mercedes keeps in touch with everyone when someone passes away.  Thank goodness for e-mails.  It's been a long time since we saw each other, but we had some good times, didn't we.  My first memory was when we were really litle girls.  Your dad picked up my dad to go with him to La Feria.  For some reason you were there and I decided to go too.  The car was a coupe, so you and I stood up in the back portion.  I think I got kind of tired.  Then a few years later you would come over and study American History with us quite  often ( us meaning Susie and I)  I learned a whole lot more than you, believe me.  A few more years and we are on our way to Pan Am riding with Robert Karle.  Remember?  I don't think I know how we got home.  Sometimes I rode with Jim Balay.  Anyway those were fun and funny days.    I can't think of the last time we visited, but I have thought of you many times.  I'm sorry we didn't stay in touch. I'm sending this for my sisters and me.  Our dads worked for the railroad, so we had much in common.  You called your dad by his first name. I remember.  He was a great person.  Milly Pinkerton Brack  and the rest of the Pinkertons

Coach, So sad to hear about Patsy, I loved the sweet picture , and will just always will remember as the sweet beautiful girl that she was. You and your son are in my prayers.  I don't know if you know I lost my son Sam, five years ago.  He was a brain cancer survivor for twelve years.  I go back to visit his family, my older son Mike who now lives in Mc Allen, and in fact going in April to see old friends, staying with Mary Wade,and Margie Brewer. Thoughts and prayers are with you, Coach Henry, and with your son, Brad, in this time of sorrow.  We remember fondly the years we shared in Mercedes High School.  We have peace, knowing that for the Christian, she is now in a far better place--safe in the arms of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Patsy dear Patsy,  it has been such a long time since we were neighbors in Mercedes.  There are so many memories; watching you cook, going to Walgreens and to Harlingen with you.  I remember riding to Taft or somewhere to a football game.   Jack was coaching one of the teams.  Your cat, Frances would sneak in my window late at night to sleep.  We always thought a lot of you and your family.  Love you.

I know we have never met but from all the wonderful stories I have heard,it's like I have always known you.We have lost a wonderful and caring person but the lord as been blessed with her.

Patsy, we go back a long way (can't believe it's been that long). We were best friends in high school , and had some really good times. I remember the slumber parties we had every Friday night, and how we stayed awake into the wee hours of the night. Such fun!
I also remember your horse, Baby--when I would spend the night with you, we would get up early and go feed Baby.  I don't remember riding Baby much, but we had a good time talking to her and grooming her.
There are so many good memories I could fill a book!
Even though we did not see each other the last few years, you were alway in my thoughts and prayers. I plan on seeing you on the other side!!!

Mom, I did the very best I knew how to make your last few years with us as comfortable as possible.  I love you so very much, and I thank you for the family that you have given me.  I will watch over them and keep your love for them in my heart at all times.  I know you are still with me and I also strongly know that you will guide me along the way. I love you mom and I know your still watching over me.  You were a prankster like me so I keep hoping that will start soon.  You were a mother, a best friend, master pioneer teacher, and every creature great and small (animals) loved you.  I miss you and love you but we will get to be pranksters together again sweetie.  Enjoy your new life.

You are forever in my heart.  Words can't express what you mean to me and how much you changed my life.  I love you forever Patsy.  Your my friend, my sister, my mom and I see your sweet smile as you say all this to me.

I am very sorry for your loss.  She will be missed by many.

My prayers go out to the Henry family for their loss.  Patsy was a great lady who brightened the lives of everyone she came in contact with.  Although she will be greatly missed, we can draw comfort from the knowledge that she is with us in spirit.
