Born on December 24, 1954, in San Diego, California, Pat was the daughter of Wayne Thomas Szydloski and Mary Mildred Sullivan. She moved to San Antonio as a teenager and graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in 1972.
Pat dedicated over 30 years of service to USAA, as an Insurance Adjuster, where she was known for her professionalism, strong work ethic, and warm welcoming presence.
Above all, Pat loved her family dearly. She was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, caring sister, and loving aunt. She especially adored her son and his family – nothing brought her more joy than speaking about her grandson, whose name alone would light up her face with pride.
A passionate traveler, Pat was always ready for an adventure - whether it was a spontaneous road trip or a planned getaway. She found joy in exploring new places and treasured the memories created along the way.
Pat was a friend to many. Her kindness, laughter, and generous spirit touched countless lives. She will be remembered not only for her love and loyalty but for the light she brought into the lives of those around her.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne & Mary Szydloski and her sister Terry Scharpenberg.

She also leaves behind her siblings: Jack Szydloski (Tammy) of Ashburn, VA; brother Dennis Szydloski (Cathy) of Williamsburg, VA; sister Mary Gibbens (Pete) of La Vernia, TX; and sister Nancy Walsh (Stephen) of Monument, CO.
