Patricia Allen Johnson

July 10, 1930 - August 24, 2025

Patricia "Pat" Allen Johnson was born on July 10,1930, to Homer Allen and Harriet Ingram Allen. A lifelong learner and servant-hearted leader, Pat dedicated her life to education. She earned a bachelor's degree from Our Lady of the Lake University, a master's degree in Library Science from Our Lady of the Lake University, a master's degree in School Administration from Trinity University, and ultimately a Ph.D. in School Administration from the University of Texas. Her pursuit of knowledge was always tied to her deep desire to serve others.

Pat is lovingly remembered by her children and their spouses: Jeff and Nancy Johnson, and David and Kathy Johnson; grandchildren and their spouses: Ezra and Debra Johnson, Josiah and Mindy Johnson, Javan and Karen Johnson, Meghan and Kendra Williams; and her great-grandchildren: Piper Williams, Aurora, Seth, Brady, Bowen, Emalyn, Cecilia, Arlo and Elliana Johnson. She is also survived by her niece and husband, Sherri and Fred Schraer; grandnephews and their wives, Matthew and Shannon Schraer, Trevor and Katy Schraer; and great-grandnephews, Jaxon and Theo Schraer.

Pat peacefully transitioned in her sleep on August 24, 2025. She is now free from the limitations of an aged body and reunited with her beloved younger sister, Joan, along with many family members, friends, and the lifetime of animals she cherished. On that morning, the rainbow bridge was surely covered with Siamese cats, a couple of sheepdogs, and a great Pyrenees eagerly waiting to welcome her home.

Services will be held on Monday October 27.2025 at 10:00 AM Graveside at Sunset Memorial Park.
