

Pat Mansell went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 6, 2007 after an extended illness. She was 58 years old and a life long resident of San Antonio, Texas. She was a graduate of Alamo Heights High School, the University of Texas in Austin and St. Mary's law school in 1979. She was an assistant city attorney and then practiced in several private firms for a number of years. She was active in a wide variety of organizations including the Republican Party, Alamo Heights Chamber of Commerce, McNay Art Institute, Witte Museum, Council of Presidents, San Antonio Bar Association and Texas Bar Association. She was a gifted photographer and had many other interests including, world travel, genealogy and politics. She had an enduring love for cats, fashion and jewelry!! She was a member of Alamo Heights United Methodist Church and was active in the choir and the Order of St. Luke. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Mansell; sister, Kitty Merritt Fred; stepmother, Toni Mansell; uncle, Beverley Benson; as well as nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the many friends who have given unwavering support and assistance throughout Pat's illness. You'll never know the blessing you have been. Her unique attributes and characteristics will be missed by family and friends.
