She was born on May 6th, 1927 in Winters, Texas. Even as a child, she was a gifted artist and art was her love.
She was a prolific artist all her life, and also taught art. She was also a talented writer, and wrote stories about growing up in Texas. Recently, she served as a docent at the McNay Art Museum.
She shared her life with her husband, Bill Mullins, for over sixty years. During that time she always made their home a warm and welcome place for friends and family.
She raised two sons, and helped raise three grandchildren. She could be counted on to provide thoughtful and helpful counsel for all of them.
She is survived by her husband Bill; sons John and Keith; grandchildren Emily, Meredith, and David, and many other loving family members.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2011 at Porter Loring.
