Patricia (Ann) Breckenridge Pollard

Raised in Florida, Germany, Japan, San Francisco, Maryland, and San Antonio as a proud Army brat.

Graduated from MacArthur High School and Incarnate Word University with a degree in Medical Records Administration.

She married her beloved Donald Lee Pollard in 1962 and lived in College Station, TX, while Don earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. They moved to San Antonio in 1964 and remained there for the rest of their lives, raising sons Donald Paul Pollard and Daniel Ross Pollard. Patricia was a stay-at-home mom to Paul and Dan until they were old enough that she could go to work as a medical records administrator for several hospital systems, eventually retiring as Medical Records Director. Patricia was raised at Alamo Heights Christian Church and there they raised their sons; her faith and church were a very important part of her life and legacy.

Patricia was a loving and devoted wife until Don’s passing in January of 2014. She was equally loving and devoted to her two sons and daughters-in-law. MawMaw, as her grandsons Mason, Kyle, and Joshua knew her, was always in their lives to care for and support them in all their young years, school years, sports years, and adult years. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Josephine Mae and Joshua Mac Pollard.

She will be remembered for her exquisite sense of humor, her good cooking, her sharp and witty mind, and her stringent etiquette. The latter, despite being stuck with three males for so long.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Pollard, father and mother, Lewis and Mildred Breckenridge, brother, Richard Breckenridge, and grandson, Joshua Pollard.

She is survived by her sister Dorothy Tucker; son Paul (Alma) Pollard; son Dan (Stacie) Pollard; grandson Mason (Kathryn) Pollard; grandson Kyle (Emily) Pollard; great-grandchildren Josie and Joshua Pollard, all of San Antonio, TX; nephews John, David and Jeff Pollard, nephew Tyler Breckenridge, niece Savanah Breckenridge and sister-in-law Sandi Wilcox Breckenridge

A memorial gathering will take place at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218, at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 9, 2026.
