She was born May 23, 1928, in Kaukauna, Wisconsin to Glen and Ruth Miller. Pat entered the Army Nurse Corps in 1958. She received her BSN from Boston University and her Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Washington Seattle.
She retired from the USA Nurse Corps after 22 years of service. Two of her last assignments were as Assistant Director of the WRAIN Program and as Director of the Army Nurse Corps Career Activities Office. In 1979, Pat received the Dr. Anita Newcomb McGee Award of the National Society DAR.
She spent part of her retirement years in Florida before returning to San Antonio.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Lt. Col. Beverly Scoville, USA Ret.; brother, Robert R. Miller and wife Sylvia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
