

Patricia Ann Rice was welcomed into heaven by her husband Dale Rice and her grandson, Charlie Stanley. Pat was born November 29, 1925 and departed January 2, 2020. In that span she saw a lot of changes. Tv, microwaves, cell phones to name a few. Pat was born in Findlay, Ohio where she was in National Honor Society in high school.
She married Dale Rice in 1946 after world war ll. They had two children, James Dale and Barbara Joan. In 1950 they moved their family to Corpus Christi, TX she stayed at home and raised her family, in 1956 she went to work for the city of Corpus Christi in the personnel office. In 1963 they moved their family to San Antonio, TX. All through the years Pat and Dale were active in church, family and Alzafar Shriners and Daughters of the Nile. In 1994 she became Queen of the Daughters of the Nile. Somewhere she earned her real estate license and worked for Guy Chapman in the relocation department. Through the years she worked in other offices. Pat was always busy. But never too tired to go dancing.
She was a member of Coker UMC and the Questor Sunday School class.
Her family mourns her passing but knows she has finally gone home. Son, James Dale Rice and wife Kathy. Daughter, Barbara Joan Stanley. Grandchildren: Michael Dale Stanley and wife Kristine, Jonathan James Stanley and wife Sara, Stephen James Rice and wife Barbara. Carolyn Patricia Carrasco and husband Carlos. Great grandchildren Wayland, Lucas and Elizabeth Carrasco and Amelia and Elijah Stanley.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Coker United Methodist Church or Alzafar Shrine.
