Patricia Stewart was a devoted wife and dedicated mother.
She was born in Hawaii in 1926, and was a proud "army brat" who lived around the world. She graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 1943, and spent two years at Stephen College in Columbia, Missouri.
Returning to college after the war, she graduated from the University of Texas in 1948, where she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. She was an active Delta Gamma Alumni doing vision screening and other charitable activities for thirty years.
Patricia was the widow of C. Scott Stewart, an Alamo Heights pediatrician, and was preceded in death by her daughter, Holly.
She is survived by her son, Scott Van Stewart and his wife, Susan, and her grandchildren Lindsey Stewart Forrest, Scott Evan Stewart, Tiffany Totten Van Alstyne, and Michelle Totten Juarez, and her great grandchildren Holly and Sutton Forrest.
