Our loving Sis

I still cant believe you're gone.
Every weekend you would call the house to check in with my mom and to send greetings to all of us. Life can really change in a minute. It was just a month ago you called to console us on the passing of my sister. Now only to hear we lost you. I know this is a real hard pill for the family to accept. While we will all miss you, we have that assurance that we will see you again. To the family , please accept my heart felt condolences.

To the family of Patricia Thompson:
I was saddened and shocked of the sudden passing of my dear sister. I still can't process it. It's like a dream! Sister Thompson was a long time sister friend, we had a very close relationship. For the past two years we messaged each other everyday, sharing and encouraging each other from the Word of God. She would always say, 'stay grounded and rooted in the Holy Ghost.' She was a blessing to others. Her hobbies were cooking, trying different recipes and doing her gardening. There is so much I can say, but words are inadequate. She is gone, but not forgotten, she will always be in my heart. May you the family, find comfort, strength and peace which only God can give, in this difficult time. Your are in my prayers. We may be sad and mourning, which is normal, but in the eyes of the Lord, she is precious, according to Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints."
May she Rest In Peace
See you later my sister.
Your partner in Christ!
Sister Kathleen Frederick and family!

As I write my tribute to my dear friend, Patricia Thompson, I realize that she is now in the presence of God and resting in Heavenly peace. She is in my heart and my thought. May the Holy Spirit comfort all of us and give us strength.
It was about two hours before Patricia’s death that we exchanged messages on WhatsApp. This was our daily routine. Prayers, wonderful songs and our chit chat were some of the things we exchanged.

To find out about my sister in Christ passing a few hours after our messages were exchanged was heartbreaking. I had to pull off the side of the road to let the bad news sink in. The blow was hard and the shock was severe. I never realized that her death was so near. In my heart a memory is kept of the love we shared and I will never forget.

“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8

You will be missed my dear Sister in Christ.
Rest in perfect peace Patricia
