Dear Wells Family,

My sincere condolences. Mrs.Wells was a lovely person. I have no doubt my mother (Betty Hill, who taught English at Samuel Clemens) and Mrs. Wells are visiting now with each other in Heaven. My mom always thought so highly of Mrs. Wells and your family.

My sympathy to the Wells family the last few months i was blessed to take care of a beautiful, funny, and out spoken women. I have fond memories of her, as much as she loved each and one of her kids and grand kids, and how much she adored Phillip, I will always keep her dear to my heart, and her wonderful family. I love you all.....

Pat will be missed I alway remember she was very active in the booster club from concession stand and other booster club events. Knowing her the first person she see will be Steve and his sense of humor Mom what took you so long I'm hungry. Pat rooting for David and John Moore during a Clemens Talent Show or running into her on a Ssturday morning shopping at Randolph Commissary. Everyone that knew Mrs Wells fell in love with her sense  of humor that Steve inherited from. Ms Pat keep a seat for us at the table will be hungry when we get there.

Our sympathy is with the Wells family with the loss of Pat.

When thinking of Mrs. Wells I recall fond memories of growing up across the street from the Wells family.   They were our neighbors from the time I was ten years old through my college years.  Mrs. Wells was always very kind and liked to joke around.  In later years when I stopped by to visit my parents, I always loved it if I saw Mrs. Wells outside working in the yard because I then had a reason to go over and visit with her.  She loved her family and would share stories about the boys, their latest accomplishments, and tell how very proud she was of them.   

Mr. Wells, Mike and David, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  May you find comfort in the loving memories you share in the days and weeks ahead.

During the latter part of my mothers life, Pat made her a calender every year and send it to England to the nursing home my mother was in.  This was a very special lady and though I had not seen her for quite a long while I have many happy memories of her and our English group. I know that she will be happy to see her son Steven.

We met Pat and Gene at Susan and David's wedding rehearsal and immediately fell in love with them. Pat's love and loyalty to the Aggies were the cause of frequent, friendly  competion between our families.  Her happy spirit, love of family and friends were always evident.  We will miss her dearly and always have her in our hearts.

The sixty years that my grandmother and grandfather spent together is an incredible example of a loving marriage. Her words were a light to me in recognizing the love that I had for my own bride before we married. No matter what the occasion - she was always the first person to send a card. And when the Cowboys lost - she was the first to call with a snickering remark (with love of course). I love and miss you Nana.

We first met Patricia at Russ & Deanna's wedding in 2006. A more sweet, gracious and fun-loving person could not be found that day. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gene and the family.

In my life, I do not know of a more kind, gentle, happy and wonderful lady.  During my high school years with Mike, we had lunches at their house almost daily. I would return to school with my jaw hurting from the laughter and jokes we would share in the Well's home. and later, the wonderful banter between TTech and UT.  I will always remember her as a bright spot in my life.   john phaneuf

Growing up as a child, across the street from the Wells, I can still hear her awesome laughter as it would travel from her garage to ours!  She was such a sweet woman and always had a beautiful smile on her face!  I pray that God has his arms around Mr. Wells and his beautiful family at this time of sadness.

Pat Wells, a loyal customer and Friend, she lit up the Beauty shop when she walked in the door, Everyone loved her sense of humor and beautiful smile, we all miss her dearly at the Beauty shop, God be with Mr Wells and his family in this time of sorrow. Shirleen Harkins

Pat was a loyal and devoted friend..................a treasure for over 50 years of her being a presence in our lives. Our love and prayers to Gene and her entire family .

Although I never new this graceful lady, I went to school with her oldest son, Steve, who passed on from this life much too early. I pray the Lord provides this family peace and comfort in this time. For we all will return to dust from which we were created.

Simply put, in my 54 years, a finer woman I have never known, a marriage unsurpassed, and the three finest men were her and Gene's children. In life and in death, I can only say, Well done. I wish I would have lived as you two.
