

Pat lived life to the fullest, enjoying many adventures including a recent crossing of the Pacific as crew of a small fishing vessel. She loved mojitos, The Eagles and trying everything once.
Born October 12, 1940 in San Antonio, she attended St. Martin's and graduated Providence High School. She received her B.S. degree from University of Texas, El Paso, and a master's degree from Prairie View A&M University. After teaching school in El Paso, she served for years as a counselor in Needville ISD before retiring to Canyon Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Theodore Zimmerhanzel. She is survived by two sons, James and Michael, two daughters-in-law, Linda and Jana, and five granddaughters, Cristina, Kathryn, Shelby, Kelly and Jamie, one sister and her husband, Kathy and Burton Neesvig, two brothers and their wives, James and Cynthia Cunningham and Don and Jane Cunningham, special niece Nicole Cunningham and sixteen other nieces and nephews.
