

Patrick Hanlon Rayburg was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 17, 1944 and passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011 at the age of 67 surrounded by family and friends. He graduated high school from St. John's Seminary.
Patrick proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy aboard three destroyers: the USS Gyatt, the USS Topeka and the USS Wren. Following his military career, he devoted 38 years as a route man in the uniform business, retiring from Cintas in 2010. Known for his friendliness, Pat never met a stranger.
He enjoyed many hobbies including model trains as a member of SAMRA and TCA, sailing, air shows, water gardens, history, and caring for his Purple Martin colony. He and his wife also enjoyed taking Amtrak train trips.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Eileen Rayburg. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 24 years, Naomi "Nikki" Rayburg; son, Russell Rayburg and wife, Brenda; daughter, Judy Rayburg Collins and husband, Denis; step-daughters, Heather Real and husband, Darrin; and Erin Day and husband, Mike; step-son, Steven Hurley, Jr. and wife, Blanca; grandchildren, Jordan and Victoria Rayburg, Ian and Ava Real, and grandson-to-be, Denis Patrick Collins; sisters, Eileen Crow and Kathy Rayburg; brothers, John Rayburg and Paul Michael Rayburg; and many relatives and friends. Special thanks to his beloved CNA, Victoria Delgado.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Porter Loring, on McCullough Ave.
