Paul W. Bingenheimer

Paul Bingenheimer, age 81, passed away August 1, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. Paul was born in Jackson Missouri and graduated high school in 1951. He moved to San Antonio and joined the Air Force where he married Sara, his bride for 61 years.

In 1956, he began his career in retail including J.C. Penney and Bealls Department Store. In Portland, Texas, he held the position of store manager for over twenty years. During his tenure in Portland, he was active in the Chamber of Commerce, was as a Deacon in the Church of Christ, and proudly served on the School Board and the Kiwanis Club. Paul and Sara retired in 1998 and moved to San Antonio.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brother.

Paul is survived by his wife, Sara; his children, Pam Shaffer (Dave), William Bingenheimer (Missy), and Mark Bingenheimer (Brooke). Grandchildren include Travis Shaffer (Arlene), Justin (Naomi), Clint (Kami), Jennifer and Jessica Bingenheimer.
